  1. Lamakhos, and the plays would be Akharnai, in which he’s a character, and Frogs, in which Aiskhylos speaks of him in the context of the martial qualities inspired by his own plays.

    • The specific line in Frogs is 1039 (ends “Lamakhos heros”).
